Ways To Serve

Did you know that there are some exciting ways that you can get involved in the life of the church? We’re currently looking for individuals who have a heart for ministry, a love for God, and a desire to serve.

Volunteering in the church is a great way to get connected and stay plugged in. You’ll meet new people, and you’ll be a much needed part of the ministry team. If you’ve ever considered serving in the church, consider some of these opportunities.

If you are interested in serving in the church, but none of these opportunities are of interest, please speak with Pastor Chuck, Pastor Geoffrey, or Pastor Gary about your desire and interests.

Sound / Livestream Technician

From the in-person services to the live audio and video feed for our live stream, the sound tech is an integral part of worship on Sunday. We’re looking for 1 or 2 people who can commit to at least one Sunday per month. No experience is necessary, training will be provided. If you’re interested in serving in this area, please speak with Matt Mikhaila or Paul Vannatto.

Media Operator

The media operator is an important part of the overall Sunday service. From launching the video pre-roll on time, to keeping the lyrics in sync with the live worship, to ensuring the speakers presentation is loaded and ready to go. We are looking for 1 or 2 people who can commit to at least one Sunday per month. Computer experience is an asset, and training will be provided. If you are interested in serving in this area, please speak with Susan Krogman.

Gardeners

As we strive to serve the needs of our community, the Outreach Committee is considering launching a community garden in 2022. This would require individuals to plant, water, weed and manage all aspects of a vegetable garden. You would be working in conjunction with other community garden projects. Gardening experience is necessary and you would be expected to commit to the entire vegetable growing season. If you are interested in serving in this area, please speak with Sis Lalonde.
