Scriptures of Hope - Week of June 7, 2020

O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
1 Chronicles 16:34
Teach me Your way, O Lord, And lead me in a level path
Because of my foes. Do not deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, For false witnesses have risen against me, And such as breathe out violence.  would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.
Psalm 27:11-14
God sets the lonely in families,
he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.
Psalm 68:6
Where can I go from Your Spirit?  Or where can I flee from Your presence?  If I ascend to heaven, You are there;  If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.  If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,  Even there Your hand will lead me,  And Your right hand will lay hold of me.  If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me,  And the light around me will be night,”  Even the darkness is not dark to You,  And the night is as bright as the day.  Darkness and light are alike to You.
Psalm 139:7-12
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord  And whose trust is the Lord.  “For he will be like a tree planted by the water,  That extends its roots by a stream And will not fear when the heat comes;  But its leaves will be green,  And it will not be anxious in a year of drought  Nor cease to yield fruit.
Jeremiah 17:7-8
I will ask the Father, and He will give you another [b]Helper, that He may be with you forever;  that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also. 20 In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.”
John 14:16-21
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
Romans 8:18
